Almost all Filipinos that I meet here in US try to sell me health supplements invented and produced by Filipinos. I can’t remember the brands, but are usually made of common Filipino fruits or vegetables and they tell me those products are popular in the Phils. Is it true?

Yes, very true. ABS Bitter Herbs pioneered this genre, and sells more products outside of the Philippines than the already huge sales they have locally.
Even bigger companies have joined the bandwagon, a testament to the success of these health supplements. Pascual Laboratories has lagundi “ASCOF”, Splash has “virgin coconut oil”, and I think even Unilab has products in this category now.

VERY YES. Filipinos believed in herbal, safe and effective and no side-effects.

Yup, lots of these are out in the market along with their commercials in the tube. Usually ends with ” No approved therapeutical claim”
